Humanization of Educational Space: Chronicles of the International Forum

Abstract: 

The article presents information about the International Forum that took place on March 15–16, 2018 under the auspices of the Department of Psychological, Pedagogical and Special Needs Education of Saratov National Research University named after N. P. Chernyshevsky under the patronage of the Institute for the Study of Childhood, Family and Upbringing of the RAE (Moscow). The key points of the discussion were the possibility of combining environmental, ethnocultural, ecological and project approaches, the hierarchy of the processes of upbringing and education of modern children, the direction of effective pedagogical activities, including its new functions – supportive, meditative, communicative, analytical, project, and correctional. The directions of further research are outlined. They include modernization of educational space under conditions of inclusive education, multicultural region, options for combining pedagogical resources of individualization and differentiation of the educational process, search for meanings and content of supporting pedagogical activities, axiological foundations of the educational process of modern children and young people, with consideration of influence of digital sources of information, its openness, accessibility and variability.
