Discriminatory attitudes and discrimination of individuals based on their nationality, religion, gender, age, physique, social status are a serious problem of the modern multipolar world. In the monograph of the group of authors (R. M. Shamionov, M. V. Grigorieva, E. E. Bocharova, T. V. Beskova, N. V. Usova, M. A. Klenova, L. E. Tarasova), the results of theoretical and empirical studies on phenomenology, mechanisms, determinants and types of discriminatory attitudes are presented.

The article provides information on the forthcoming international scientific conference “Strakhov Readings – 2021”, which will be held on November 11–12, 2021. The conference continues the tradition of holding annual Strakhov Readings in memory of the founder of Saratov Psychological School, the first head of the Department of Psychology of Saratov State Pedagogical Institute, Professor I. V. Strakhov.

The article provides an account of the events of the international scientific conference “Strakhov readings – 2019: Positive Psychology of Personality and Group”, which was held on November 7–8, 2019. The purpose of the conference was to understand the role of socio-cultural roots and scientific content of Strakhov’s Saratov psychological school within modern problem field of psychology, sociology, pedagogy, and philosophy. 

1–3 февраля 2012 г. на базе факультета педагогики начального и специального образования Саратовского государственного университета (СГУ) по инициативе кафедры методологии образования состоялась Международная научно-практическая конференция «Формирование картины мира ребенка и его педагогическое сопровождение» под патронатом Института психолого-педагогических проблем детства. Основная цель конференции – обсуждение актуальных проблем современного образования.

Подведены итоги всероссийской научно-практической конференции «Реабилитация, абилитация и социализация: междисциплинарный подход», которая состоялась 19–21 мая 2016 г. на базе факультета психолого-педагогического и специального образования Саратовского национального исследовательского государственного университета имени Н. Г. Чернышевского.
