Conditions for effectiveness of prompts in solving challenging problems of artistic and scientific content

The study analyzes the problem of the influence of prompts on the achievement of creative problem solution and conditions under which it is effective. The relevance of the topic is determined by the context of the determinants and factors that define success of solving creative problems. From the standpoint of the problem situations theory, we revealed conditions for positive influence of direct and indirect prompts in solving problems of different content.

Motivation of protest and socio-political activity of an individual and its potential in the system of life-purpose orientations

The relevance of the study is conditioned by the need for formation of theoretical and practical knowledge and technologies that allow to determine the structure of motivation of socio-political and protest activity. The purpose of the study is to investigate motivation of protest and socio-political activity of an individual and its potential within the system of life-purpose orientations. Presumably, the motivational structure of socio-political and protest activity reveals similarities in the manifestation of qualitative and quantitative characteristics.

Ethical and psychological factors of social activity of modern young people

The purpose of the study presented in the article is an empirical study of the relationship between characteristics of moral selfdetermination and various forms of social activity of young people. The study involves students (N = 236): high school students (n = 118) and university students (n = 118) of Saratov and Saratov Oblast (Russia) aged from 17 to 19 years. Attitude of Russian teachers to cultural diversity in difficult pedagogical situations: Experience of qualitative analysis

Student-related cultural diversity is a phenomenon that characterizes most Russian schools. Intercultural interaction between teachers and students is discussed in the article from the perspective of the model called “Diversity in Organizations: Perception and Approaches” developed by M. Tatar and G. Gorenchik. The purpose of the study was to investigate the content of the ideas of Russian teachers about cultural diversity in the educational environment in the context of solving difficult pedagogical situations when interacting with children of migrants belonging to different cultures.

Analysis of Relationship between Commitment to Civic Engagement and Socio-Psychological Characteristics of Students

The purpose of the study presented in the article is to identify the relationship between commitment to civic engagement and sociopsychological characteristics of the individual. Loneliness is one of the fundamental problems of modern people. However, loneliness is traditionally associated with negative expressions and characteristics, at the same time it may also have a resource function. The relevance of the study is associated with its focus on the multifaceted understanding of loneliness and identification of its resource mechanisms. The purpose of the study presented in the article is to compare the idea of loneliness among Russian and Bulgarian students.

Representation of the Motives of Emigration of Modern Russian Youth among Smolensk Students

The study of emigration intentions of young students is extremely relevant and is due to the need to solve an important social problem – preservation of human capital within the country, concern for the well-being of young people as the most active and educated part of the population. The purpose of the study is to identify the representation of Smolensk students jf the motives of emigration among Russian young people. The study is exploratory in nature and is focused on finding the answer to the following question: what are the motives for emigration behavior of modern Russian youth?

Young People’s Social and Psychological Satiety with Life in a Megapolis: Conceptual Approach and Research Results

The relevance of the study is associated with the study of viability resources of young city dwellers in the context of growing urbanization processes. The article presents theoretical and empirical research data regarding the problem of operationalization of the phenomenon of social and psychological satiety, which is a psychological state generated by peculiarities of the urban environment. The paper presents the results of an empirical study aimed at the identification of empirical types of social maturity in young people; its relevance is due to the lack of typology of social maturity in modern socio-psychological literature. The study was performed on a sample of young people aged 18 to 30 years old (347 people, including 178 women and 169 men).
