In modern society that is characterized by rapid changes, instability, turbulence, the importance of socionomic specialists work is increasing, as their main function is to help people. The prominent representatives of this professional segment are doctors and psychologists. Such personal qualities as responsibility, discipline, and empathy are necessary for specialists to effectively carry out professional activities, provide timely and high-quality assistance to those in need.

The purpose of the study presented in the article is to generalize theoretical and empirical studies on the relationship between adaptation and coping behaviour of international students in Russia. There is a pronounced tendency towards the increase in international students wishing to obtain higher education in Russia. Not only the “geography” of international students is expanding, but the number of Russian universities willing to enrol the students is also increasing.

Изложены данные теоретического анализа проблемы соци ально-психологической адаптации учащихся в условиях моно- (общеобразовательного учреждения) и поли- (учреждений дополнительного образования) образовательной среды. Особое внимание уделено проблеме успешности социально-психологической адаптации подростков в зависимости от их включенности в образовательную среду учреждения дополнительного образования.

This article presents the results of theoretical and long-term empirical study of adaptive readiness of secondary school students. Students (N = 83) and class teachers (N = 3) participated in the longitudinal study. The use of the following complexes of psychological and pedagogical instruments allowed to study the dynamics of adaptive readiness of students with initially high and low levels: «Chart of monitoring students’ adaptiveness and effectiveness of their learning activities» by E. S. Eskina, T. L. Bolbot, «Intellectual abilities test for children» by K.

The paper presents the findings of a theoretical analysis of the problem of school adaptation. It is demonstrated that school adaptation is an ongoing process, involving such fundamental changes in the person’s life as the change of activities and social environment. School adaptation is interpreted not only as a process of adaptation to effective functioning in an educational environment, but also as the person’s active exploration of the surrounding environment associated with his/her ability to develop psychologically, personally, and socially.

The article presents data of the study of life scripts and adaptive capabilities of adolescents enrolled in an inclusive educational institution. This work represents the results of research carried out on a representative sample of students (Ulyanovsk; N = 98, age 12–17 years) with the use of diagnostic tools: diagnostic technique of social – psychological adaptation of С. Rogers and P. Diamond; technique «Essay » adapted by the author. The differences of socio-psychological adjustment between adolescents with different life scenarios.

В статье рассматривается взаимосвязь родительского отношения и формирования адаптационной готовности выпускника школы. Показано, что образовательное пространство школы и семья влияют на освоение навыков, обеспечивающих социальную адаптацию

Рассмотрена проблема геронтообразования в качестве фактора социализации и адаптации пожилых людей. Представлены данные, свидетельствующие о том, что треть пожилых людей в России имеет потребность в обучении. Описаны новые формы работы с пожилыми людьми, направленные на сохранение их социальной и интеллектуальной активности, которые позволяют им как можно дольше сохранять физическое и духовное благополучие.

Обсуждается проблема направленной социализации молодежи; приведены данные психологических подходов (Г. Тард, В. С. Мухина, А. В. Петровский), лежащих в основе анализа сущности и механизмов социализации. Представлена авторская программа направленной социализации молодежи, выделены основные направления работы по сопровождению: профессионального самоопределения, процесса адаптации в высших учебных заведениях, становления профессиональных компетенций.
